Any woman out there will appreciate this book.  It is about a mother/daughter relationship.  WOW!!  It is such a great read.  I have two boys of my own, but there is something so different about a daughter.  I know because I am one.  I love my mom so much.  Sometimes I get homesick for her.

Frangipani will take you through an older mother and her daughter’s relationship as well as the daughter and her daughter’s relationship.  The book has  lot of Tahitian traditions and their lifestyles.  (I am sure glad that we believe in epidurals.  Whew!)  As a mother, you tend to be very opinionated  when it comes to your child and their decisions.  The mothers in this book definitely have their strong opinions.  The life of these girls is really captivating.  Motherhood is something so special and the author truly captures that.

I read this book several years ago and I loved it.  I hope you will too.
