Hey!  My name is Jamie Brown.  I make my home in Austin, Texas with my husband, two sons and three dogs. I now stay at home since I had my second child.  Who would’ve known I would be a stay-at-home mom.  CRAZY!!  I enjoy my coffee throughout the day.  It keeps me going.  Cooking is quickly becoming a hobby now that I have the time.  It is really fulfilling to place a nice spread of food on the table and everyone be so excited to dig in.  Compliments always welcome.  I never tire of taking pictures of my kids or any kid for that matter.  They are usually the best and easiest subjects.  Shopping is always fun too.  I am always up for a shopping trip, whether I need something or not.  It is one of my favorite things to do to pass the time.  If I am not cooking, taking pics, cleaning house, or tending to children, I can usually be caught reading.  Love it and it gives me an escape.

Nathan and I have been married for 10 years this August.  We met in high school.  He was 17, me 15.  He graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas and is a Graphic Designer.  He gets to work from home which means that he is home with me and the kids all day.  We try real hard to stay out of his hair.  When he is not home with us, he is out fishing.  Flyfishing that is.  He is supposedly pretty good at it.  Whatever his hobby, I always support it, and believe me, he has many.

Having fun on vacation!

Taylor is my oldest at 3 years old.  He is such a beautiful kid.  Really!!  See the pictures for proof.  He has the biggest blue eyes.  He has blonde hair.  A true knock-out!  He is infatuated with superheroes (Superman, Batman, Ironman).  He knows them all. I guess he comes by it pretty honest.  His Dad is a comic book fan.  Taylor is an excellent shopper and you can always count on him for an honest opinion, such as “Momma, your boody is big!”

Grayson is my baby.  He is 3 months old and looks like his Dad.  Brown hair (not much of that yet) and blue eyes.  He loves everyone, but he loves his momma most of all.  So far, his only interests are sleeping, watching Taylor and eating.  I think in that order too.  I am very proud of all three of my boys.

As for the rest of my wild family, I love them very much.  They are a huge part of my life.  My mom and dad live in East Texas.  They are both very much retired and are more fun than ever.  I have two sisters who are the best.  April is my oldest.  She has a 10 year old daughter, Nicole.  April is divorced, but still great friends with her ex.  His name is Parker.  April is a CPA, and has recently been laid-off.  Bummer.  April is extremely laid back and she is quite the shopper.  Nicole is  very smart and such a good girl.  She is fairly new to public school and will be in the 5th grade this fall.   Amy is my middle sister.  She is really something else.  She is crazy, but always there to help.  She is married to Brad and has two kiddos, Gracie and Lincoln.  Gracie is 7 and will be in the 2nd grade this fall.  She is a true diva.  Lincoln is 3 (exactly 1 week younger than Taylor).  He has a head full of wild hair and he is a diva as well.  I love this family and when we all get together, watch out!

April and Nicole looking gorgeous!

    Hey Jamie,
I love your website! You have a beautiful family! Tell Nathan I said Hello! Your boys will be grown before I ever get to see them. Being a mom of two boys myself, I don’t think that there is a greater joy! My babies are almost grown now and sometimes I wish they were still small just for a moment so that I could cuddle with them and cover them with kisses! So enjoy every minute of being a stay at home mom, because believe me the years go by so fast!
Dylan will be 20 in January and Dalton will be 18 in February. Hope to see ya’ll in East Texas sometime! Love Mandy
